Carers Trust

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers was created on the initiative of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal in 1991. For nearly 20 years, they have been fighting to provide carers with the support they so desperately need.
In April 2012, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and Crossroads Care merged to form a new carers charity called “Carers Trust”

Mind is one of the leading mental health charity in the UK. As well as providing information on mental health conditions and support for service users, it has a section dedicated to carers. There are publications available covering many aspects of caring with someone with mental ill health.
ReThink

Rethink Mental Illness, one of the leading national mental health membership charity, works to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life. They run over 140 groups across the country, with thousands of attendees.
They meet regularly to provide both carers and people with severe mental illness with a support network in their local area. They provide a wide range of services and information including support for carers.
