We are looking for donations to help run Supportive Family Training, a free 11-week course designed for family members and concerned friends or individuals with severe mental illnesses.
Dont worry if you cannot contribute financially, we are also looking for volunteers.
“1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year” – Although the veracity of this is arguable, the statistic from www.mentalhealth.org.uk shows that mental health issues are far more common than the general perception.
We provide training to carers who are looking after someone with a mental health condition.
Supportive Family Training is a comprehensive course which is delivered in two hour weekly sessions over seven weeks.
A new consolidated Supportive Family Training Course supported by Barnet Carers is being held at St Paul’s Church, 50 Long Lane, Finchley N3 2PU from 7.00pm to 9.00 pm starting on 28th January 2019
